Dr. Reem Al-Ansari

Dr. Reem Al-Ansari is a certified lawyer in the state of Qatar and a member of lawyering house of university of Michigan law school.  She received her Master of laws specialized in international project finance from university of Michigan law school – Ann Arbor, United States and earned her Doctorate degree from Georgetown Law Center – Washington. D.C, with focus area of AML\CTF\CT.
‏Dr. Al-Ansari worked over at the World Bank headquarter in the (GAC) Governance and anti-corruption unit and further lead the legal research and studies division as a director at the rule of law and anti corruption center ROLACC. She also served as Permanente secretary of IAACA International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities 2015.Dr.Reem has been a fellow in CIRS Center of international and regional studies – Georgetown Doha 2015-2016 and a visiting professor at HBKU Hamad Bin Khalifa University – School of
‏law and public policy teaching post graduate students of law 2017.

‏As an academic she has been appointed as an associate dean for research and graduate studies during her term in QU In addition to lecturing numerous courses at the law school. She has built an anti- corruption curriculum from scratch using the most recent and up to date studies and materials and taught it to university level students in the anti-corruption law course. Dr.Al-Ansari published articles in prominent magazines and further issued three volumes as managing editor of the ROLACC journal an international double-blind journal.
‏Her global expertise allows for unique client representations, as practitioner she mastered her role as a Legal Consultant at various government institutions such as the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority ACTA   through her role as consultant at the office of the president, and further expanded her scope of practice to the United Kingdom through her consultative role at Connaught law. Dr.Al-Ansari international designations such as consultor\ arbitrator at the  international center for settlement of investment disputes ICSDIC permits her broader scope of practice. Her negations skills and transactional ability to deal with all legal challenges developed through a course of ground work at different venues, institutions and countries.

‏Dr. Reem has been committed to excellence since ever her diligence and devotion earned her the prestigious EED award TWICE for her education excellence. In addition, she is a QLC Qatar Leadership Alumni.  Her research interest and practice areas revolve around (international Criminal Law, Anti-Corruption, Counter terrorism, terrorism financing, asset recovery, anti-money laundering, finance law
